I would like to introduce all my lovely bloggety friends to a dear friend of mine. She has recently started a blog about her struggle to define herself, and I'd love it if you would all stop by and welcome her to cyber land! I have her button over on the right... Irish Goddess (I helped her make that too!) Thank you all darlings! And Samhain blessings to you all!

Because Mrs. B is on the East Coast, and I don't get up that freakin early!.. I am posting this Thursday night... for Friday the 16th.
Thank you for following the fabulous Mrs. B's Haunted Walking Tour to visit! She is a doll isn't she? My name is Kristina, and this is my blog. I write about whatever seems to come to mind usually. I hope you will look around and stay a while!
I want to share a little bit about Halloween… and the day that actually started it all. Then I want to share some old-witches tales about Halloween.
Halloween was formerly known as Samhain. The name and the holiday evolved over the years to become what we now know. You may be surprised to learn that Halloween is, to many modern-day witches and pagans, the most sacred night of the year. And contrary to many misunderstandings, Samhain/Halloween is not a holy day of the Devil, (most Pagans don’t believe in the Christian Devil) or an evil holiday. For many cultures, throughout many centuries, Samhain has been celebrated as a harvest festival, a time of mirth and magick, a night of ancestors, as well as a New Year’s Eve celebration. Hundreds of years ago, the Celtic people followed a calendar that began and ended with October 31/November 1st, and they believed that on this last day of the year, the veil between the living and the dead grew very thin, allowing contact across the veil both ways. Many of the traditional decorations of ghosts, skeletons, and skulls have long been used to signify those who have passed before. The same symbols are now used to delight and terrify us!
Over the years, many traditions and old-witches tales were developed for Halloween night, believing that the ancestors who have passed before would help you to divine your future. Many of methods are still around: tarot cards, scrying, crystal balls, runes, etc. Many more customs have not passed the test of time. These lesser known methods of divination were often believed to reveal your future husband/wife/lover. I found them so intriguing I knew I had to share!
- In England, it was once believed that when hemp was tossed over the shoulder at midnight on Halloween, a vision of your future husband/wife would appear.
- To learn the initials of your future spouse, peel an apple in one long piece, then toss the peel over your left shoulder or into a bowl of water. If a letter of the alphabet is formed, this is the first initial of the first name. Repeat for the first initial of the last name.
- To find out how many kids you will have, pluck a stalk of oats on Halloween. The number of grains is the number of children you will have. However, if the top grain is missing, this is a sign that you will lose your virginity before your wedding!
Halloween has such a rich history! It is by far my favorite holiday… and I can’t wait! Also, I promise I’m not nearly this educational on a regular basis! Please come back again and visit!

It was brought to my attention recently that I am a BBW...Typically BBW stands for Big Beautiful Woman, and it's a phrase I'm quite fond of. I'm also fond of Cutie with a Bootie! But BBW in this case stands for Big Bitchy Woman! I's have always believed that women should be nice to other women. We have had enough things holding us back and selling us short... we shouldn't do that to each other. But lately I have been feeling a bit jealous and insecure...and apparently taking it out on the skinny bitches I have been running into! See...I just did it again! I mean no disrespect! I know it isn't easy for most women to maintain a slim physique, and for some they try very hard to GAIN weight and have trouble with it... In my mind and my heart I don't really think badly of anyone for their shape and size. But apparently there is somewhere inside of me that can't help but make snarky remarks when I catch my honey looking at these honeys! I hope I can start practicing what I preach now that I've been shown the error of my ways! Please tell me I'm not the only one who finds them self feeling this way!

Hello again! This is week 2 for my new feature... TMI Fridays... I have one to share that I borrowed, and one to share that was sent to me to be shared annonymously... but you know who you are you naughty girl ;)! So far I'm loving this... and I love that some of you shared last week...
Remember... though Sex is definitely sensational, TMI Fridays can be about anything. Honestly, the point behind it for me is that Chris likes my stories to be short and sweet... not padded with details... and I find that I like to tell stories with details, and I like to read stories that way too... For me the details make the story. The back story makes the story. All those details that most men can live without... are absolutely necessary to me! Now for the stories. First, a naughty little tidbit from 'Annonymous!'
Now ladies, please do share your own little TMI stories... I promise not to laugh unless you give me permission too!
There is a stop you simply must make today while blog browsing. Over at Confessions of a Pagan Soccer Mom she is having the 31 Days of Halloween and it is FABULOUS! There are giveaways, stories, guest bloggers, a Haunted Walking Tour (which yours truly is going to be a part of!) and many other delightful treats and tricks! Today one of the giveaways is truly special. A 16 year old boy from Brazil took part in the 31 Days of Halloween last year, and wants to give something back this year. His contribution is a giveaway of a sweet little divination kit. Click here for details!

So we have officially moved.. I am now in Moses Lake, Washington. One of the last days I picked Isaac up from Daycare, I had an interesting conversation with one of the daycare staff. Apparently, Isaac was out on the playground with some of his friends, and was overheard using some very colorful language... Specifically... "What Mother Effer... You want some of this?... What.. Huh... Mother Effer..." (OMG!!!!) I was literally floored... but I have to tell you, the part that shocked me was the "You want some of this?" I don't talk like that! We don't let him watch TV like that! I am guilty of dropping the F-bomb occasionally... ok maybe everyday... but I don't use that combination of words, and I don't say anything like "You want some of this?" Seriously! I know, its horrible that I am bothered by that part more than the fact that my 4 year old was swearing.... but whatever! I forsee many more days of interesting words coming out of my child's mouth... I guess I have to learn to deal now huh!
