Yes, they even sell the kitchen sink! The winner will get a gift certificate that can be used at any of their stores. For your Girl Powah inspirations, why don't you try a glamor spell? If done right they last for about 24 hours and they don't change your appearance but they change the way people perceive you hence giving you a bit of a confidence boost. Best done at the full moon. Contact me if you want me to write a spell for it for you.

Y'know...'femi-nazi' is a term made up by Rush Limbaugh...nothing like finding a good insulting term to turn people off stuff. My first suggestion is to not let some blowhard of a guy (Rush, that is) make you feel apologetic and in need of saying 'but I'm not like THOSE people (who don't exist in any sort of large number - it's a myth) when you stand up in a positive way for yourself. I say that in all kindness, because I've been there, done that. Life gets easier when you stop feeling the need to say I'm going to be assertive now, if that's ok with you?

My second suggestion is a couple of books by Gail Collins "America's Women" and "When Everythng Changed" - history of women in both cases, from about 1950 on with the 2nd one. Lots of fun stories about people you've heard of or not, and in a very chatty interesting way.

I follow the blog and liked it on Facebook. Some great songs on the Girl Powah section! I think Girl Powah is all about building self esteem in women, not about tearing it down in anyone else. If we learn to love ourselves more, we will have more love to share with others. A great song would be Beautiful by Christina Aguilera.

I actually write a lot about self esteem and body image on my blog. I can't stand when girls feel they have to get practically naked in starved bodies to be appreciated and wanted. I think girl power is about being strong and confident in your own skin and life. I love Mae West, she's my epitome of girl power!

I follow your blog, I like you on Face Book, I have commented on another blog, and when I think of those who inspire girl power I think of Angelina Jolie, for music I think of Christin Agulera, and I felt the most girl power when I attended an all female goddess retreat earlier this year.

ahh... let me share my favorite Girl Powah and that is definitely the power of a tiara! I have several. They can get you through the shittiest of days. Housework is far better when wearing a tiara - try it! Cooking for your family and doing dishes - my more glamorous in a tiara! Even watching tv...you need a tv tiara! Try it - it's pretty powerful!
